The design of the horses has not changed
over the last 50 years. Per Højholm’s original
horses still appear as beautiful, simple and
decorative art.
The horses are turned manually on machines
and hand-painted.
In 2010 the daughter Ellen Højholm took over
the company and she has chosen to present
a horse with the same design as the ones her
dad sold in Denmark and Europe.
Model 2010 is made from 100 percent Danish
beech and Danish fumed oak.
Besides the horse made from unpainted beech
Ellen Højholm also presents the horse in 4
different lacquer colours: lime, orange, purple
and anthracite grey.
